 L. D. and Joyce Campbell
After graduating from JBC, L.D. and Joyce Campbell have served churches in Tennessee and Virginia before assuming the ministry at First Church of Christ in Burlington, Kentucky, where the weekly attendance has grown from 250 to over 2,000 during his 30-plus years. This church plant has grown from a small auditorium to a 22-acre campus which continues to be developed. Church personnel has increased from two to twenty-one. The budget has increased from $60,000 to over $3 million, with 25% going to missions. In addition to serving local churches, L. D. has been a trustee of Johnson Bible College for 19 years. He has also served on the boards of Milligan College, Mountain Mission School, and the North American Christian Convention Committee. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Cincinnati Bible Seminary, as well as several committees and boards of organizations in the Florence community. Throughout his ministry Joyce has been at his side teaching three-year-olds for 30 years, mentoring moms for the MOPS program, and hosting church guests in their home. |
