| Purpose |
| The Council of 70 was created in 1963 to give counsel to the Trustees, to the Faculty, and to the President. In addition to serving in an advisory way, the members of the Council also promote Johnson Bible College in their churches and to prospective students. |
| The Council meets every year at Homecoming, and at that time, members are placed into various committees, who advise and help as needed throughout the year. |
|
For seventy years, the administration of Johnson Bible College has been a one-man affair. After bearing the full load of responsibility for 21 years, I am happy to hand to the Alumni of Johnson Bible College a portion of that load. I am even more happy to know that you are not only willing, but eager, to assume your part of the responsibility of operating and supporting Johnson Bible College.
R.M. Bell - 1963
