Since its inception, Johnson Bible College has maintained a strong emphasis
on affordability. In addition to keeping charges low, the lowest of any
private college in Tennessee, we also award a large number of scholarships.
Providing scholarships to students on the preaching programs is a high
priority with the Board of Trustees and administration and is one of the
significant ways in which the College promotes preaching. Every student
enrolled on either the preaching program or the preaching and youth
ministry program receives a special scholarship specifically because they
are pursing a preaching degree (minimum grade point average required).
Our emphasis on preaching is bearing much fruit. Consistently, 50%
or more of the male undergraduate students are enrolled on one of the
preaching programs. In the last two graduating classes, over 70% of the
male baccalaureate students graduated on either one of the preaching
or missions programs.
We would like to promote
preaching even more through
additional scholarships, but
to achieve that goal we
need to increase financial
aid for preaching. You
can join with us in
promoting preaching
by giving for preaching
scholarships. |
