Rick Wolford
  1. To conduct a prayer ministry in behalf of missionaries and missionary recruits

  2. To compile a database of all Christian Church/Church of Christ (4C) missionaries and an online biographical dictionary of (deceased) missionaries (Acts 29) as a collaborative project for JBC and non-JBC writers; the purpose of Acts 29 is to draw attention to the educational and inspirational aspects of such biographies

  4. To help develop JBC's library holdings for the study of worldwide missions and related disciplines - for the use of students, faculty, visiting missionaries, etc.

  5. To schedule campus visits and short-term residence of missionaries, forwarding agents, and leaders of missions organizations

  6. To host periodic lectureships and consultations in missionary theory and practice (including the first consultation for directors of 4C mission organizations, at JBC on March 1-3, 2007)

  7. To promote missions awareness among the 4C congregations through the publication of articles and through programs at JBC's Homecoming & Senior Saints, the NACC & National Missionary Convention, and in local churches

  8. To commission a series of publishable studies that relate to the Institute's purpose

  9. To conduct an extensive correspondence with missionaries as a means of encouragement and service

  10. To serve as a clearing house for all sources of information of interest to missionaries (e.g., organizations, web sites, schools, publications)

  11. To maintain up-to-date bibliographies of scholarly literature that bears upon the recruitment, education, work, and maintenance of missionaries.
