THE ASHLEY JOHNSON BIBLE
Published in 1898, the Bible presented to the President in the ceremony is the Self- Interpreting New Testament compiled and arranged by Ashley S. Johnson. The presentation of the Bible is symbolic on the continuing centrality of the Bible in the curriculum and life of Johnson Bible College.

THE PRESIDENTIAL MEDALION
The presentation of the Presidential Medallion begins a new tradition at Johnson Bible College. One side of the silver medallion carries the historic college seal with the motto “Faith, Prayer, Work” on the sides of a triangle and within a circle containing the words “Johnson Bible College Founded 1893.” On the other side of the medallion are inscribed the names of the past presidents. Upon his retirement, the medallion will become the property of President Weedman, and a new one will be presented to the next president.
