WORKSHOPS:
Home Remedies for Healthy Marriages - Cindy Reece
Want to enjoy your marriage more? Come grab some helpful hints for creating enduring health (emotionally and spiritually) in your home.
Home Ministries - Judy Mentzer

This workshop explores different ways to use our homes as a ministry. Why do we not use our homes more, and what are the blessings or rewards from opening our homes to others?

Home Improvements - LeAnne Blackmore
This refers to spiritual home improvements that are needed. Are there cracks in the foundation (biblical teaching), electrical problems (our wiring), or pest control issues (outside influences) that need addressed? What needs fixing in your home? What can you do about it?
Home Blueprint - Mary Lou Martin
This workshop takes a look at God's design for you and your home. Mary Lou will use objects from each room in her home to describe what God wants you and your home to be.
Home Cooking - Theresa Carnathan, Janis Weedman, Linda Reid
I Peter 4:9-10 commands us to be hospitable:  “Be hospitable to one another without grumbling.  As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another; be good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” Because more and more people find it difficult to open up their homes to guests, this workshop will focus on ways to practice hospitality in the midst of busy lifestyles and not to increase the stress level.  Participants will get some new and interesting perspectives on the ministry of hospitality and on time-saving ways to prepare meals and to entertain guests. An added bonus will be recipes, decorating hints, and taste testing.

Home Finances - Elizabeth Gerkin

Practical guidance about finances will be shared from someone who enjoys working with numbers.  Her goal is to provide information and tools so that you can control your finances, instead of finances controlling your life.

Home Decorating - Susan Weaver

Get some instructions, tips, and ideas on home decorating. You will learn how to make a big difference in your home with just a little money.
Learning at Home - Betsy Chastain
If you homeschool, are considering homeschooling, or just curious, come to this workshop where we will have a panel of experienced homeschool ladies who will answer your questions and give you some “veteran” tricks of the trade. The panel includes Jerilyn Weaver, Letitia Smylie, and Victoria DeFreese.
Homemade Delights - Lisa Hale
During this workshop, you will do decoupage on flower pots. The pots will already be painted, and pictures, Scripture verses and sayings will be available to use to cover your pots.  Lisa will also show different ways to use flower pots besides just growing flowers. Romans 11:16b says, ". . . if the root is Holy, so are the branches." It is so important to have a strong Christian home as a foundation for our families. This workshop will be limited to 30. Please sign up at the registration desk.
Home Fitness (for all ages) - Ann Gupton
Come join Ann for gentle exercise.  Gentle exercise?  What an oxymoron!  Yes, it's called tai chi and is a form of exercise that has always been associated with balance, relaxation and improved energy.  Practicing tai chi daily has been shown in studies to reduce falls in the elderly by as much as 74 percent (and in those of us fast approaching "elder"-hood).  This slow, repetitive exercise improves strength, flexibility, posture and balance.  It also helps to reduce blood pressure and relieve stress.  And it's fun!  A brief review of factors effecting balance and studies on falls in the elderly will be covered in class.  Then you will exercise together.  Come comfortably dressed in your tennis shoes and learn how easy it is to improve your balance and reduce your risk of falls with tai chi.
Finding Yourself Home Alone - Betty Ann Sykes, Martha Cunningham
OK, so Prince Charming, your knight in shining armor, hasn't shown up yet. You're SINGLE and finding yourself home ALONE. Now what? Or, your Prince Charming, your one-and-only knight in shining armor is now gone. You're a WIDOW and finding yourself in an empty home ALONE. What happens now? How do you handle things when Plan A becomes Plan B? Is this you? Is this someone you know? Have you FOUND yourself... home alone?
Home Alone Again (divorced) - Linda Weaver, Vanessa Easterday
The goal of this workshop is to offer Christian women a better understanding of some real emotional and spiritual needs of the divorced woman and to help equip them with ways to deal with those hard issues through ministry and genuine friendship. They will deal with becoming a young single mother or divorced with adult children, offer Scripture-based counsel, things not to say, and learning to listen.
Home with Dad and Mom - Carol Fields, Carolyn Puckett
The workshop will address a variety of aspects of caring for aging family members, including one’s responsibility, personal preparation, decisions, legal aspects, and emotional aspects as well as discussing ways to cope with the stresses of care giving.  The goal will be to offer some practical tips from personal experience and to provide a list of available resources for those who are or will be caregivers.
Home with Kids - Molly Emmert, Grace Ann Hance, and Rebekah Ensley
Reflections of a mother and her daughters in their fun-loving, food-loving Christian home. They identify the key ingredients that have fostered a love for the Lord, His church, and each other that is enduring the generations.
Home Gardening - Susan Hamilton
Learn about the benefits of a home garden and gardening on your physical, spiritual, and mental well-being. Also, tips on how to get the most from your gardening efforts will be discussed.
When Your Children Disappoint You - Wendy Schettig

Taken from the perspective of a troubled teenager, our speaker will reminisce about the patient wisdom her mother showed that ultimately brought her home to the Lord. We’ll discuss worldly and Godly influences that impact our children now and how we can respond to them
