Intercultural Studies

Do you have a heart for the lost and a strong desire to see the Great Commission fulfilled in your lifetime? Jesus said that the fields are ready for harvesting and JBC wants to equip you to reap the harvest.

Students who successfully complete the Intercultural Studies program will receive a double major degree in Bible and Intercultural Studies with an emphasis in one of the following areas:

  • Islamic Studies
  • Applied Linguistics
  • Missions
  • Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL)
  • Urban Studies

Intercultural workers are always needed - whether internationally or state-side. Our Bible and Intercultural Studies double major prepares you to effectively communicate the message of Christ in a cross-cultural setting. You will be faced with several opportunities during your four years in this program to take part in foreign or domestic missions projects. You will also be required to complete a 10-week cross-cultural internship.

Catalog information and Program Guide Sheets on the Intercultural Studies program will be available at the next publication of the College Catalog.
