The needs of a married student and his or her family are diverse. For this reason Johnson Bible College offers several housing options for families. Currently there are four types of housing units available:
Bell Hall Apartments. Bell Hall is a three-story apartment building containing one and two room efficiency units of varying sizes. All utilities are included in the rent of these apartments. |

Garrett Way Apartments. Garrett Way Apartments have two bedrooms and one and a half baths. These units are designed for families with one or two children.

Individual Duplexes. Several three bedroom duplex units are available and many of the mobile home units are scheduled to be replaced with duplex units as funds are available. Student families are assigned a duplex unit on the following priority basis:
- Three or more children
- Two teenage children
- Teenage child and second younger child
- Two younger children
- One teenage child
- One younger child
If more than one family have the same priority basis, the date of payment of the housing deposit will be used to determine who will occupy the unit.

Mobile Homes. Various sizes of mobile homes are available for rent in three mobile home courts on campus. Water and sewage hookups and garbage removal are provided by the College; electricity, gas and telephone are contracted individually. Specific rental charges are listed in the current Financial Information supplement.

These units are rented as furnished units; however, a couple can request permission to bring their own furniture. Waterbeds can only be used by special permission. Rental charges are figured on a per semester basis (4 1/2 months) for fall and spring. Those who want to store the majority of their belongings in the unit while away for the summer may do so by paying summer storage charge equivalent to one month's rent (and not living in the unit). Paying this charge will guarantee the same housing unit for the next semester. The charge must be paid before leaving the campus for the summer. If the unit is occupied during the summer, a monthly charge will be assessed.
