Technology
is changing the way people communicate the Gospel. Because of this,
Johnson Bible College provides students with technology tools to
help them proclaim the good news in a changing world. These tools
are found in the following areas:
Students in the dorms and in most of the married housing units have fast network access. The College network is connected to the Internet by four T-1 lines.
All students are able to use two computer labs, each of which features modern machines, the latest software from major vendors, laser printers, and high-speed network access.
Professors use technology in classes. In "smart" classrooms,
the Internet and presentation software are used to teach students
using a variety of methods. For many courses, information, including
announcements, assignments, notes, and grades, is available on-line.
Of course, technology will fail without people. The staff of the
computer services department stands behind the system, committed
to serving the campus community by providing the tools needed to
prepare for full-time Christian ministry.
